Estrogen Hormone estradiol it binds with intracellular that stimulate DNA and RNA to produce produce proteins for the acion of estrogen.it increases growth and developments of female sex organs and secondary sex characterstics and it is used in defiicency conditions it causes edema, hypertension,headache, gynecomastia, hyperglycemia, increase eight, depression, differences in menstraual bleeding and electrolyte changes dosage of hypoglycemic and anticogulants should be changed. its effectiveness decreases with rifampin and barbiturates pregnancy and lactation, thromboembolic disease, vaginal bleeding

it should be administered after food to reduce nausea and advise to take solid food

explains signs and symptoms of fluid accumulation  

advice to apply  sun screen lotion and protective dress to pretect from darkness

instruct the use of applicator

it competes with estrogen for binding sites in breast and other tissues and decreases DNA synthesis and estrogen reacts

vaginal bleeding , nausea, depression, headache, thrombocytopenia, hypercalcemia photosensitivity

estrogen reduce the action of tamoxifen hypersensitivity, prgenancy, lactation

it should be administered with food o avoid irritation

advice to check daily

educate about tumor illinitially increase insize temporarily

educate to take analgesic if she has bone pain

OralContraceptives hormones estradiol and norgestrel it prevent follicle development, ovulation, corpus luteum

hypertension, breast tenderness, abdominal bloating,nausea, stomach upset, spotting, dizziness, photosensitivity

antibiotic mainly rifampin, anticonvulsants reduce effect of oral contraceptive pills undiagnosed genital bleeding, coronary artery disease, thromboembolic disease and thrombophlebities, pregnancy,liver tumor, diabetes with vascular complications, cerebrovascular disease

assess blood pressure

advise to eat solid food to decrease nausea

explain sign and symptoms of fluid accumulation

instruct to apply sunscreen and dress to avoid photosensitivity

Clomiphene Hormone clomiphene citrate

oral nonsteriodal estrogen agonist

it stimulates release of pituitary gonadotrophins , FHSand LH that causes ovulation and development of corpus luteum

flushing, ovarian enlargemnet, breast discomfort, nervouseness, restlessness,breast discomfort, nausea, vomiting, distension increased urine frequency and its volume there isno drug interactions

it is contraindicated in liver disease, pregnanacy, ovarian cysts, poly cystic ovarian syndrome

advice to take medication as advised

instruct to have conceive with sexual contact every other day starting 48 hr before ovulation

educate about measuring basal body temperture

advice to withdraw medication if conception is suspected
