Lifelong learning means the learning process continues throughout life. All nurses have to flow with lifelong learning throughout life.
The rapid and fast advancement of technology and industrialization lead to changes in the health care setting also by increase using the new technologies, equipment. During this time, the nurse needs to update their knowledge and skills regarding how to handle it.
Evidence-based practice also an important roles in making lifelong learning. With time to time, many new practices are discovered and many old practices are updated to maintain the quality of the nursing care. So this leads to the need to update their practices from time to time by giving proper education regarding the changes occurs or the new practices discovered.
Changes in the environment or outbreak of new diseases are frequently and continuously present with modernization and industrialization. The nurses need to learn about this new disease and how to care for those patients suffering from new diseases. This leads to learning in lifelong.
