Your body doesn't need probiotics. You allready have healthy bacteria in you gut. But it usually doesn't hurt to take them, and adding them into your diet might help.
Probiotics are made up of good bacteria that helps keep your body healthy and working well. This good bacteria help your body many ways, inculding fighting of bad bacteria when you have too much of it, helping you feel better. Probiotics promote a healthy balance of gut bacteria and have been linked to a wide range of health benefits. These includes weightloss, digestive health, immune function and etc. It also helps to treat antibiotics associated diarrhoea, hepatic disease, helicobacter pylori infection, treat high cholesterol.
Probiotics defined as microorganisms that have a beneficial effect on the host intestinal microbial balance. Lactic acid bacteria and bisido bacteria are the most common type of microbes used as probiotics.certain Yeast and baccile may also be used.
Some of the disadvantage of probiotic are taking them in larger amount might produce digestive issues, such as gas and bloating but they are usually temporary. Treating lacto baccilus septicemia which is potentially fatal disease caused by the consumption of probiotic and sometimes it may cause discomfort in the gastrointestinal tract and allergic reaction
