What do you say to those who argue that discriminating against LGBT people (not serving, not hiring…) is permissible and should be legal if your religious belief tells you to do so?
Nobody should be turned away from a business, refused service by government officials, or evicted from their home just because of who they are. All we want is freedom to love whomever we choose without fear and discrimination that is love.
Each person has his own life and shold be given an opportunity and to experss himself about hiis own identity. Religious beliefs should not be considered in this. I will tell those people that humans have rights to do want they want and to have relationship with who they want. Its there own choice and we should not be put religious things in them.
The discrimination and victimization that LGBT youth face in schools is often exacerbated when they have intersectional identities based on race, ethnicity, sex, disability, and other characteristics. LGBT youth of color, for example, often report bullying based on race and ethnicity, closer surveillance by school personnel, and harsher disciplinary measures..
I would request all those who oppose LGBT to Enact the Equality Act or similar legislation to prohibit discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity in employment, education, federal funding, and public accommodations;
