• Internet addiction is described as an impulse control disorder, which does not involve use of an intoxicating drug and is very similar to pathological gambling. Some Internet users may develop an emotional attachment to on-line friends and activities they create on their mobile or computer screens . The more internet we use , the more dopamine is released by our brain . This dopamine is responsible for undesirable addiction to the internet . Adolescents (12–19 years) and emerging adults (20–29 years) access the Internet more than any other age groups and undertake a higher risk of overuse of the Internet, the problem of Internet addiction disorder is most relevant to young people .

• Due to the large scale exposure to media, whether television, print, or the internet, children now have an easy access to sexually explicit content. Hence they tend to gather knowledge according to their age and understanding and this is what creates problem.
