Stem cell research

I choose to go for the topic, and here are my reasons:

• One of the best benefits of stem cell research is the medical advantages it provides. They have been proven to drastically improve the condition of many patients with degenerative disorders. Stem cell research paved way for treatment discoveries. This offers the immense possibility for more discoveries which would lead to cures and treatments for a wide variety of illnesses such as diabetes, spinal cord injury and more. Organs and limbs can be grown in labs from stem cells and then used for treatment as transplants.
• Stem cell research also benefits other research studies. This is crucial to the study of particular development stages that cannot be directly studied during the embryo stage. This is often linked to primary clinical consequences like birth defects, pregnancy loss and infertility.
• Stem cell have a unique ability to differentiate into any cell in the body. Stem cells can keep renewing themselves. These basic building blocks of life are becoming the ultimate and the most efficient repair-kit of the future.
