Cell is the smallest functional unit of the body.Study of stem cell properties and their use in medicines are include in stem cell research .Stem cells serve numerous functions in different parts of the body.Stem cells can be useful for treating and understanding disease conditions genetic defects in cells,why certain cells develop in to cancer cells.Several types of stem cells are using for different purposes..Induced pluripotent stem cells,cord blood stem cells and amniotic fluid stem cells is the most common types of stem cells.

Types of adult stem cells

Cell based therapies directing the embryonic stem cells,to turn in to insulin producing cells,for transplant the cells in to people in type 1diabetic mellitus .Using stem cells to replace damage cells helping to restore hearing,repair the fragile bones of people with osteoporosis .Use of stem cells in different types of cancer ,spinal cord and other neurological injuries .There is controversy in raising the way human embryonic stem cells are obtained.During the process of harvesting embryonic stem cells ,the embryo is destroyed .Destruction of fertilized embryo for the purpose of collecting embryonic stem cells is morally wrong .Embryo is a living human being have the same right of human being and that these rights should be protected .Using of stem cells in to pluripotent stem cebody. May decrease the need for embryonic stem cells in research .Side effect of stem cell transplant eg.nauesa and vomiting ,skin rash,swelling chance of passing viruses and other microscopic agents,aneroxea.
