The Inter-professional collaboration communication is when communication happens by health professionals with each other, with patients and their families, and essentially with broader community in a collaborative, responsible and transparent manner. There is an ever increasing need for effective collaboration among the healthcare leader to collaborate as the number of healthcare professionals and equipment, research facilities and human resource is scarce. if we are to meet the challenges faced today in context of healthcare then, the healthcare leadership needs to have an effective collaborations. When the leadership is involved it has a snowball effect and includes healthcare professionals from diverse backgrounds to participate and collaborate to meet the complex service needs of the future. A 2010 Framework for Action on Inter-professional Education and Collaborative Practice by WHO stated the leadership communication incorporate inter-professional collaboration as an critical aspect for future challenges and health emergency preparedness situations.
The leadership communication and collaboration is a key skill to have a higher impact and achieve efficient and significant contribution through collaboration based on effective communication as a leader.
