Geometry is one of the most important aspect of Mathematics. It's related with the shapes and measurements.

It has a very significant role in industries.We can't imagine any industry without considering the facts and concepts of geometry. Any industry starts with a very basic step which is "CONSTRUCTION".In order to construct something new first of all we need to do is "Measurements".We need to measure length, Area, Volume, Perimeter etc. before starting the construction. Hence we need geometry at the very first step to establish an industry.

In computer graphic and imaging industry there is a need of geometrical concepts to create animations and other stuff like video games.Consider the fact that Industries depends on mapping for their extensions and physical developments and geometry helps in this task by mapping using measurements of distances.
