When we say research it means systematic investigation process which is doe ne increase or revise th existing knowledge by searching and discovering new facts. There are basically 2 types of research.

(1) Basic research is done to get the scientific knowledge and applied research is done using the basic research to solve problems or developing new things such as products, process or techniques.
