What do you mean by self esteem. Differentiate between self esteem and self efficacy.
Self Esteem: an individual makes some judgement about our own value or worth. In order to understand self esteem of an individual they are presented with a variety of statements and asked to indicate the extent to which those statements are true for her or him. If they are reported as true the individual is having a high self esteem.
Self efficacy: In this an individual believes they themselves control their life outcomes or the outcomes are controlled by kuch or fate or other situational factors. A person who believes that he/she has the ability or behaviours required by a particular situation demonstrates high self efficacy.
