I fixed an appointment with a local pharmacist nearby my hospital where I work . It was a working day , we had a usual talk on the prescription and indent of drugs .The main moto was to know how much updated his software system is and to know about the connectivity . After the discussion I came to know that the system was not linked to the physicians office , the patienta come to him to buy the medicines with the prescription given by the doctor . The system was not automated and was not updated . It was used to within the store only not connectivity between the pharmacist and doctor was there .

The pharmacist was advised to upgrade his software and to have a software which is linked with the physicians office by putting a requisition for the same in the hospital administration department . After the implementation of the successful interlinked software ,they realized that a interlinked software is beneficial to both the parties . The pharmacist number of customer increased because doctors directly put indent to his pharmacy only and patients will buy medicines from him only and patients also get some percentage of reduction . Also it made the task easy for doctors by directly putting prescription online ,reduces chances of mistake in dose ,route etc .
