  1. Add a new local user to your system. Local accounts are usually used for different project, not different users. If you find that you are being asked for an email address to validate the account you’ve take a wrong step.
    1. Using your administrative account, select the Windows icon at the bottom left and choose Settings | Accounts
    2. Select Family & other Users | + Add someone else to this PC
    3. Select “I don’t have this person’s sign-in information” | Add a user without Microsoft Account
  1. Enter a user name, a password and a password hint. Make it something really easy to remember and write it down – which is really bad advice IRL. If you forget the password, you’re also an admin and you can reset it. Give any answer you like to the the security questions.

e. Demonstrate that you were successful in creating the user by logging in and displaying the directory tree for that user.

Click on I don’t have this person’s sign-in information

Click on Add a user without a Microsoft account

Fill in the required information and then you are done!
