Discuss the roles of federal, state, and local public health agencies in the development of standards for informatics in healthcare.
The federal, state,and local public health agencies have major esponsibilities for educating and training the current public health force and future public health workers who have not received training. These health care systems plays main role in continuous quality improvement and life-long learning programs for all healthcare providers who works in the health workforce such as opportunities for formal and casual public health leadership programs helps in gaining knowledge and in development.
More than two-thirds of local health departments provide the following core services like:
adult and childhood immunizations, communicable disease control, community out reach and education, epidemiology and infectious disease surveillance, core data records, environmental health regulation such as food safety services and restaurant inspections, and tuberculosis testing.
The role of federal public health agencies has responsibilities include : 1. Securing a sufficient local public health infrastructure, 2. encourages the healthy communities and also healthy behaviours, 3. helps in avoiding the spread of contagious diseases ,4. Securing against the hazards of environmental obstacles or hazards , 5. Also helps in getting ready for and also reacting to emergencies and 6.guarantee to provide quality of health services.
The federal government plays various roles in health care area like providing equipments , patients who need helath care, healthcare provider who works in hospitals provides health care services, and sponsor for research of applied various methods of treatment , demonstrations, knowledge about courses and training programs for health care professionals.
