Role of federal health agencies : They are Centres for Disease Control and Prevention,United States Department of Health and Human services,National Institutes of Health,Food and Drug Administration etc.They help in development of health standards by notifying and preventing some communicable diseases,identifying the environmental hazards and trying to avoid them by finding new sources,finding out the lacking of infrastructure in the soceitey.

Role of State Health Agencies : Texas Department State of Health,Washington State Department Health,Arizona Department of health Services etc.State health agencies laid standards of health informatics by different types of research conducting among the people to identify their problems and working for the well being.They perform a wide range of activities and helps to improve the health of the society.

Role of local health agencies : Local health agencies works on sanitation,communicable diseases,epidemiology , works on school health services,and also home health care and thus provides information for the development of health standards.
