Mission and Functions of the Board

NBON is state agency whose purpose is to protact the citizens of the state of New Mexico by licensing nurses and lactation care providers, certifying Hemodialysis Technicians and Medication Aides,regulating education programs for licensees and certificate holders, regulating practices taking complaints and disciplining licensees and certificate holders who violate the law and rules. NBON is issuing graduate permits upon receipt of required documents.This board provide services to licencies, employers and public.
