ARIZONA STATE BOARD OF NURSING
STATE BOARD OF NURSING: It is a state specific licensing and regulatory body that sets the standards for safe nursing care, decides the scope of practice for nurses within its jurisdiction and issues licenses to qualified candidates.
ARIZONA STATE BOARD OF NURSING: It is a state board located in Arizona. It is established for the purposes of registering trained nurses and overseeing nursing education programmes.
Mission : It is to protect and promote the welfare of the public by ensuring that each person holding a nursing license or certificate is competent to practice safely. The board fulfills its mission through the regulation of the practice of nursing and the approval of nursing education programs.The mission derived from the Nurse Practice Act, superseds the interest of any individual,the nursing profession,or any professional interest group.

NURSES ASSOCIATON: It is the association of any nursing groups that clarifies, researches, educates and promotes the continued development of nurses and nursing.
ARIZONA NURSES ASSOCIATION (AzNA): It is a statewide membership-based professional association of licensed nurses. It is founded in 1919 and is the oldest and largest nursing association in Arizona.
Mission : It has a simple mission statement "To advance and promote professional nursing in Arizona "
Members of the Association: The members of this associations come from all practice settings which includes hospitals, home and community health, public health, higher education, long term care, school health and policy. They share a common purpose of advancing excellence in nursing.
