What are Darwin's theories for evolution and how they have they changed current thoughts of evolution today?

Solutions

Expert Solution

Ans- Darwin gave a theory of evolution , explained in detail in his book ' The origin of species' .Acc to Darwin's theory variation inheritance selection and time are the main components responsible for the evolutionary mechanism . Species adapt new characters and this adaptive ability is inherited i.e, on the basis of genetics ,that increase individuals ability to compete survive and reproduce .

As evolution is all about changes modification and improvent from primitive to existing life forms .And Darwin's evolution theory says that only the fittest species will pass ( to next generation and reproduce) and selected by nature who will adapt themselves according to the environment .

For example - people's in today's world who will adapt themselves according to the environment , resources ( present in nature ) and will develop immunity( for several diseases) can only survive .And nature selects for fitness based on character which are inherited
