Research on stem cells will provide us with understanding of basic human development mechanism and it just doesn't stop here, we can derive new treatment for lifestyle diseases, or Parkinson's disease. or spinal cord functioning etc. But, how to obtain stem cells and carry out research? The ethical and political controversies revolving around stem cell research are matter of concern.

There are list of activities that are carried out, and each act will attract different level of ethical issue. For instance, to obtain of stem cell we can ask an individual to donate. A voluntary consent for donation will resolve this issue.

In a certain scenario if the stem cells are obtained from a person with out his consent, the destruction of stem cell should be done to avoid mis-use. Stem cells should be purely used for research purpose.

Certain donor might be willing to give at a price, in such case certain amount of payment can be done.
