The advancement involved incorporating the technology involved using a machine to machine and the integration of the internet.  The efforts during the revolution resulted in the alleviated automation, self-monitoring, increased communication, and manufacturing of smart appliances. The Philippine e-commerce endeavours are compatible with the fourth industrial revolution; the country's advancements involved technological aspects.

The principal exports accumulated to $811.73 billion with high production of electronics. Petroleum products and transport equipment manufacturing boosted the country's income and placed it at a competitive level with the other nations. The Philippines' industries were automated and advanced to a higher level; this boosted the manufacturing and declined the adverse effects encountered, like the production of sub-standard products.
