There are mainly four aspects in the nursing metaparadigm. Human
beings, environment, health and nursing practice are teh aspects
included in metaparadigm.
Human beings
Human beings are viewed as open energy field with they have unique
life experiences. The enrgy become greater and different from their
parts and it cannot be predicted from knowledge of their parts.
Humans are holistic things , they are unique, dynamic, sentient,
and multidimensional,they are capable of abstract reasoning,
creativity, aesthetic appreciation and self-responsibility.
Language, empathy, caring, and other abstract patterns of
communication are the main aspects of an individually high level of
complexity and diversity and they are enable one to increase
knowledge of self and environment.
Environment
It is the landscape and geography of human social experience, the
setting or context of experience as everyday life and includes
variations in space, time and quality. This geography contains
personal, social, national, global, and beyond. Environment
includes various things such as societal beliefs, values, mores,
customs, and expectations.
Health
Healthis a dynamic process, in which they produce wellness and
illness and is the perception of the client across the life span.
physical, social, aesthetic, and moral realms are teh major view
points.Health is a contextual and relational process.
Wellness means that the lived experience of congruence between
one’s possibilities and one’s realities andit is based on caring
and feeling cared for. Illness maybe referred to as the lived
experience of any loss or dysfunction which can be mediated by
providing treatment.
Nursing practice
Nursing means that,itvis an academic discipline and practice
profession. This is a art and science of holistic health care
motivated by the values of human freedom, choice, and
responsibility. Nursing science means alarge think of knowledge
they can be arrived at the theory development, research, and
logical analysis. Clinical judgement capacity is needed for the
professional nursing practice. Human caring is the central and
moral part in the professional nursing practice. Concern, empathy
and commitment to the client is very important.
