. Have you been a member of a group in which there was conflict? Describe the group, what occurred, your role in the situation, and the resolution, how did you feel about the experience, could something have been done to prevent the conflict,  were you satisfied with the resolution.  If not, what could have been done to reach a better resolution.

Conflicts can easily arise in workplace.Being one of the novice nurse they generally are not given the priority in any decision making or in critical patient care. For instance a patient with low oxygen saturation needs oxygen administration but the rule of informing theon the floor describes that a novice nurse before doing any procedure should report to the supervisor .Due to a busy schedule of the supervisor if the novice is not able to report and does the procedure. The conflict arises here why the novice has not informed and fires the nurse. This can make the novice nurse feel helpless for doing the right intervention at right time and being scolded for. It could have been prevented by at least informing a senior staff or a colleague regarding patient status and report to the supervisor.The better way to reach a resolution is by doing the procedure if very confident and documenting it clearly and reporting to the supervisor .
