Describe a conflict situation you are or have been involved at your work through the different characteristics of a negotiation situation.
One such conflict situation was during a strategy meeting in my organisation where me and few of my colleagues had a conflict regards to the deviation making to select the right supplier for our raw materials in the manufacturing process. They were strongly against my opinion about a supplier and I decided to be on a negotiation situation of listen to what they are talking. Keep on listening helps me to get right points or to validate my stand points later. Once they finished with their argument I started putting my thoughts on board with more logical way. My patience, persistent and creative mentality help me to have a better negotiation and a proper decision making. The situation was not about who is right or who is wrong , it was all about convincing through negotiation and making more win win situation. Different characteristics of a negotiation situation like listening, patience ,creative thoughts. Thus resolve the conflict situation through better communication and right attitude.
