Evidence based leaflets :- Providing written informations about risk factors and prevention. Studies shown that clients who are provided with written informations in the form of leaflets have more knowledge and understanding about risk factors and prevention.

Audiotapes:- The information given can be heard by the clients when ever they have doubts and it will retain in them.A systematic review of trials using this method in patient with cancer, showed that subjects tended to remember more of the informations they were given and some where more satisfied with the informations.

Decision aids:- patient decision aids are tools that help people become involved in decision making by providing information about options and outcomes and by clarifying personal values.
