The NBA is using a “Health Ring” to monitor players for COVID-19. It is as accurate as Test A above. They plan on using the ring to help them identify players with COVID-19. The players will also have to take a test like Test B above. But, there won’t be a follow up test. Any player that tests positive will have a mandatory 2-week quarantine. Given the probabilities that a positive test means the player has COVID-19: (3-4 sentences each)

A. What would you tell the NBA about their idea to have the players wear a $300 ring?

B. Based upon the discussions we’ve had, would you buy this ring for yourself or suggest that anyone else wear it? Why or why not?

C. Explain to the NBA why their idea, as I wrote it (cuz what I wrote is what I heard, not what is actually going to happen), why it’s a really dumb idea.

D. Explain to the NBA what a better option would be.

A.In my opinion,the idea of wearing ring for covid19 is a worst idea.The covid19 virus spread through droplets,contact etc.So it is not enough to identify players with covid19 and wearing rings.The players with cold,cough or symptoms of covid19 should be isolated before.Also the ring can be easily removed by the patient.so it is the patient who determine to wear the ring or not.

B.In my opinion,I do not buy or suggest this ring to anybody.People are of different behaviours.It is the prestige issue ofof t patient.if patient is Covid19 positive,he may hide that.So another measures should be taken other than ring.

C.It is a dumb idea , first of all ring is a small object,which can't be identify easily,it may make confusions.Also people can hide ring easily.

D.The main thing is,all these should control under the health department.They should identify the patient in the very beginning.Patient should be sent for quarantine,and the patients details should be sent to staffs of health department and police.These informations should not share with the public.If patients in the quarantine to be found outside,give punishments or take fine from them.
