What is heart failure?

Heart function is to pump blood and provide it to all body organs. But in heart failure pump weakens and heart become unable to do its function or become less effective which creates several problems.

Let's see what is Right heart failure:

In this case right ventricle loose their power. It's function is to move used blood to lungs for supply of oxygen. It's unique in function and structure. It causes due to Coronary artery disease, High BP, Damaged heart valves, Lung disease.

Let's see what is left heart failure:

In this case, heart becomes unable to pump blood from lung to hearts left atrium which results in insufficient delivery of blood to body organs. It has two types. 1. Systolic failure. 2. Diastolic heart failure. It causes due to Coronary artery disease, High BP, Obesity, Cardiomyopathy.

Comparison of Right heart failure and left heart failure:

Because of lower right sided pressures and wall stress, the oxygen requirement of the RV is lower than that of the LV.  

Mixed heart failure:

In this case, both sides of the heart gets affected. Symptoms can be same as for left heart failure and right heart failure.
