Heart failure refers to the condition in which heart not able to pump enough amount of blood to meet metabolic demands of the body.

Mainly two types-right side and left sided heart failure.

Difference between right side and left sided heart failure:

(1). Left sided heart failure always caused by coronary artery disease, heart attack or prolonged hypertension,while right sided heart failure is due to advanced left sided heart failure

(2). In left sided heart failure the cannot pump enough blood to body,in right sided heart failure the right chamber lost the ability to pump.

(3).left sided heart failure causes fluid accumulation in the lungs leads to shortness of breath,while right sided heart failure causes accumulation of fluid in the abdomen legs and feet leads to swelling.

(4). Left side heart failure treated by implanting defibrillator or something called left ventricular assist device (LVAD) in the body.while right sided heart failure pulmonary vasodilator,RV ionotropic support and temporary mechanical circulatory device
