Health insurance is a boon for many people who cannot afford treatments of high cost . However there are some areas where health insurances are complex to understand and one of them is how the premium to be paid is calculated . No matter what the requirement of an individual is and no matter how much they spend on medicines ,their premium remains the same and the percentage to be eligible for the individual to be claimed also is calculated with fixed calculations which are complex and tough to understand. We need to do research on how the health insurance works , how premiums are calculated, what is the percentage that goes to hospitals and how much is actually spend on patients. All this is a puzzle for people outside the insurance companies and we need to understand what is what to gain more benefits from health policies.
