Introduction :

Orem was a staff nurse, nurse educator and recieved honorary doctor of science degree in the year of 1976.this theory was publised in the following years such as 1971,1980,1995 and 2001.

Major Assumption:

Every people are an individual . With the help of nursing intaraction can be happend between two or more people.An individual with potential health problems is required to promote self-care practices.
