Dunaliella sp. - it is a green algae of phylum chlorophyta. Carotenoid degredation can happen in them. It happens mainly because of salt stress.

Prevention - DNA laddering during salt stress could be abrogated by addition of Zn2+
free amino acids modulate salt stress.

. Ocean acidification effect on helimeda ( macroalgae). Due to higher CO2 in the ocean, pH level lowered and cause acidification. Due to this physiological performance of algae is lowered.

preventation- this disease in algae can be mitigated by increased irradiance.

mitigation plan for growing algae

where we are growing algae that water should be tested regularly for salt concentration and pH level. NaCl is present in higher amount then proper addition of amino acids and Zn2+ . Proper sunlight for algae should be there. Proper temperature should be maintained as every species have a particular range of survival. Less pollution nearby to stop acidification of water.
