What do you know about scarce resources? Can you name a few scarce resources and how it is diminishing

Scarce resources are the resources which have a high demand and are not able to fulfill the high demand or they are limited as compared to the unlimited demands of the humans.

Scarce resources are water, land, fresh air , oil etc. Mostly all the natural resources and coal , natural gas are also considered scarce.

The groundwater level has reduced by drastic levels and is creating water scarcity all around the world. In the world economic forum of 2019, it was considered as the biggest threat to impact humans . It is also predicted that if necessary steps to conserve and preserve water are not taken , then by around 2050 , about 1.8 billion of the population of the world would be living in acute water scarcity.

There is also scarcity of oil . The increased prices of oil and its shortage because of the huge demand shows that the oil levels are diminishing and soon the world would face the shortage of oil.

Clean air is also a scarce resource in cities and countries with high levels of pollution. This has increased the respiratory problems among the populations of the countries and has led to many other health problems. Similarly water pollution has harmed aquatic life which has led to extinction of some species as well/
