Employee retention strategy is the strategy being used by the firm to retain their employees and to decrease the employee turnover ratio. It helps to protect the most important source of an organisation that is human resource. High employee turnover ratio affects the firm badly. It costs time, money. Employee retention strategy works great to protect firm from such costs and wastage.
Some of the Employee retention strategies are as follows -
1) Provide Competitive salary and facilities - One of the most influencing factor that motivates the employee to Stay in is how much he is getting paid.
2) Decrease Employee stress - It is important to not put so much pressure on the employee. You cannot expect the employee to work as a robot for 24/7 hours.
3) Fulfilling Social needs of employees - It is necessary to fulfill the social needs of the employees. After economical needs, employee seeks for the positive social environment inside the firm.
