As per the rules only beneficiary gets the benefit. In this case before death of late Foley he had named Mr. Hills as a beneficiary in the insurance worth $1000000. As per the terms, only beneficiary gets the benefit of the insurances until and unless the bearer has made some amendment before the death.

So in this particular case, you are not eligible to get the insurance benefit after the death but being a nephew you may be entitled for other benefits.
