Was Stanley Milgram’s Study of Obedience Unethical?
Stanley Milgrams experimental study of Obedience is unethical as there is no declaration or consent of approval from volunteering teachers and students on which electrical stimulation experiments were performed at high voltage of 200 volts in order to receive their response with respect to behavior and respect. The volunteers were payed by the experiment conducting psychologist Milgrams with payment of 4 dollars but the consequences of high voltage electric shocks were not evident to the volunteering students and teachers and further necessary unskilled people were employed to give electric shocks which is unethical as it was conducted on human beings. The human ethical society should take a decision for the approval of such decisions including doctors and physicians and further approval should be taken from physics scientists panel and engineers panel to decide the limit of voltage that should be applied to parents as the volunteering teachers and students are not mentally deranged.
