Describe safe care environment for nurses and patients

Nursing care for patients from very important part in the treatment. For an effective nursing care, the working environment of the nurse and patient plays an important role. The main things that are basic for nursing environment are easy accessibility to the patient in need, proper availability of standard equipments,proper sanitisation measures for both nurse and patient,proper nursing care station from where the duty nurse should be able to keep an eye on every patient to recognize the patient in need at proper time. There should be toilets separate for nurse and patient. Availability of safety measures like face mask, gloves, gown should be available. Emergency trollies and oxygen cylinders should always present in the ward or in the premises of room in which patients are admitted. A security staff should be there in every ward who can manage certain problematic situations created by the bystanders. Ward boys should be available for certain works which necessitate the nurse to leave the ward for some time. Proper charting of vitals, medicines given any dues should be kept since these all are medicolegal documents.
