Organizational
Structure
This is a structure through which
the organizational tasks and defined activities are assigned to
each other in order to achieve a common goal collectively. This
helps the organization to be organized in each and every stage and
perform with its full capacity. But every organization does not use
the same kind of organizational structure to run its business and
that is the reason why the organizations have different approaches
towards the market and also they have different performances in the
market.
Now let us discuss the difference
between the cellular/modular structure and network structure.
- Cellular / modular structure is a
form structure in which each and every cell-like components of the
organization works independently but on the other hand network
structure is a form of structure in which the organizational
components work in a full networking structure and they all come
together to work as a team to achieve the organizational goals and
objectives.
- In cellular / modular structure the
cells like departments work independently from the main
organization and they keep on sharing valuable information so that
they are on the same path but on the other hand in the network
structure the organizational department works within the
organizational plans and works just according to the organizational
decisions.
- In cellular / modular structure the
relationship between the cells like department can be of short term
due to the fact that they are not the integral part of the
organization but this is not the case in network structure in which
all departments are the integral part of the organization and they
work together for a specific goal.
