Answer- Technology has advanced a lot in the last couple of years and greatly contributing to the economic growth. Indistrialisation has emerged due to technology improvement and if we see industrialisation and technology together then both of them have greatly impacted the environment. Due to growth in technology the industrialisation has increased and thus more goods are produced because the production capacity has also increased. This may also lead to increase in consumption of such goods as in case of automobiles. As the consumption of such goods increases like cars the rate kf pollution will also increase and with the increasing damands of such goods the firm will cut more tress to build factories or manufacturing units to cater the demands. All of this will eventually lead to a lot of environmental damage.
In the recent years the growth in technology has been tremendous but the control or management of it has not been that good. This problem has also led to environmental problems. If we take the case of automobilies and factories, we will see that they have resulted in emission of so much CO2 and other poisionous gases. If all such things could be managed more carefully then the pollution level would not have been so much.
Another thing that technology requires is the resources which are depleting. The main reason for such depletion is that they are been used at such a rate which is greater than the rate at which they are getting replenished. This resource depletion has also led to major environmental problems because if we go like this then there won’t be any reaources left.
Above all the technology has resulted the favtories in desposing off their waste material in the water bodies which has also resulted in water pollution and the noise coming from factories has lead to noise pollution.
Glaboal issues have also increased due to technology. More upgraded weapons has led to wars and more machines has led to more environmental damage.
