Ethics of human cloning:
Clones are organisms that have identical genetic material. In the other words the sequence of bases in their DNA is exactly same. Cloning means making an exact of copy of an individual this can be achieved through somatic cell nuclear transfer technology. It also has some ethical issues as well playing with nature. Cloning reduces genetic diversity within population and should not be carried in the long run, however if it would prove beneficial for path breaking medical discoveries its welcome step. Cloning is probably one of the most controversial topics in the biological world. It is because the number of failures far outweighs the number of successes. According to my view nowadays in our own life cloning technology is widely using in several aspects, so I can accept this proposal. But I can't imagine cloning humans though.
Genetically engineer my child's traits:
genetic engineering of your own child's traits was not possible, because during this process human embryos are clonined. human cloning of embryos for the purpose of generating stem cells is not ethical. Cloning human beings is same as generating stem cells from embyronic cloning as both are induced to have same genetic information. So it indirectly targets to clone cells of human beings to carry same set of genetic information. Due to this reason genetic engineering of your own child's traits are not possible in present situation.
