Which organ system plays the least role in maintaining optimal conditions of the animal body?
reproductive |

urinary |

respiratory |

circulatory |
Ans is A - reproductive system.
Ciculatory system is involved in pumping of blood via heart and circulation of blood using artery, vein and capillary. Via circulation system nutrients absorbed from gut get transferred though out the body. Hormones produced from different endocrine gland reach their respective target organ. Oxygen and carbon di oxide gets transferred from and to lungs. Thus circulatory system acts as the main carrier system to maintain homeostasis.
Respiratory system involves in transfer of gas in lungs. It helps in inhalation of air, and oxygen gets exhausted at alveoli and gets distributed in different cells, so that proper metabolism occurs. Carbon di oxide generated from cells are getting excreted via lungs to the outside. Thus by age=seius c[echange respiratory system maintains homeostasis.
urinary system excretes all the metabolic wastes like urea, creatinine, othe nito]roger containing compound via urine formation to outside the body. That's help is proper functioning and homeostasis of the body.
reproductive system only helps is]n reproduction - to generate new individuals/offspring and that is not related with self homeostasis. A major example of this is - menopause i.e physiological stoppage of menstrual cycle does not affect self homeostasis in woman.
