How can organizational leaders promote accurate and motivating attributions among their employees?

Attributions has stages namely

  • Observing behaviour of individual
  • Determine whether it is done intentionally
  • Find out the cause of the behaviour

Accurate attributions help the leaders to bring out more confidence in employees and motivate them. Because motivating employees to work towards a positive goal helps them in improving their capacities . Motivation is found to improve the characteristics of an employee. An organisational leader can provide extra merit funding for employees who work for improving the organisation. Good working environment is necessary to omit aggressive responses of employees. To enhance good relationship of leaders and employees , the leader should have good experience on the work performed by employees so only he can easily find the cause of problems and find a solution in a simple way without affecting the employees. Usage of multiple raters of performance can promote accurate and motivating contributions among employees .Not only the organisational leader but other subordinates , managers and employees has self evaluation tools which make them improve their performance in future by understanding the expectations of organisational leader. Moreover an employee needs motivation which make them work efficiently and continue their work in efficient manner.
