a) . Discuss the importance of codes of ethics in professional associations and suggest five (5) issues of concern in coming out with such codes of ethics. Using these five issues, come out with your own codes of ethics for your club or association.
b) Discuss how computer ethics, privacy and security issues should be adhered to in online systems.
c) Computer Ethics Awareness and Educational Issues are very crucial in modern society. Discuss your view on this statement.

a)A code of ethics sets out the ethical guidelines of an organization. It is necessary to have code of ethcs ie code of ethics is important because it puts forward the rules of behaviour of the organization and prepares a groundwork for anticipatory warning. It sets ethical conduct that the employees should follow.

Five isues of concern in coming up with code of ethics are unethical leadership in the form of bullying etc,bad workplace culture like taking bribes,discrimination and harassment in workplace,goals of the organization that is not realistic and conflicting in nature,improper use of the internet and technology is a huge cost for the organization.

My own code of ethics are avoiding discrimination of color, creed , religion in workplace,not setting unrealictic goals,improving the workplace culture and taking care of unethical practices like taking bribes etc.

b)Computer security means protecting the computer against unwanted access.Computer security threats and risks include internet and network attacks, unauthorised access ,etc There are hackers and viruses always to damage our files.In order to deal with computer ethics , securiry issues , privacy we can adhere to some preventive measures like changing passwords regularly,installing updated anti virus andfire wall software, Beware of online scams-never accept online free gifts,spyware scan should be done,investing in data backup etc.

c)The invention of computers is the best thing that has happened as people derive a lot of benefit from the use of computers.But a number of unethical issues arise from the use of computers like fraud,.hacking, software theft ,digital plagiarism etc. Many students have fallen into the trap of unethical use of computers and this is an issue of concern.So it has become necessary to examine the awareness of computer ethics among the students in modern society. Researches were done and the findings revealed that the level of awareness among the students on issues associated with computer ethics was high . A large number of students had a favourable perception of computer ethics and the most important factor that came in the way of adhering to computer ethics among students was poor economic conditions of the country . The government should provide responsible and responsive leadership to deal with poor economic situation that compel students to use computer unethically in order to survive.
