Definition of Evaluation - A medical evaluation is a comprehensive assessment of patients overall medical history and current condition for the purpose of identitying health problems and treatment. It may be a part of routine healthcare or required under certain work related circumstances.
Goals of evaluation -
Importance of evaluation in public health - It helps to access and ensure whether the activities implemmented in public health are effective
It can help us identify areas for improvement and ultimately helps in realising our goals
Definition of research - The collection and analysis of identifiable health data by public health authority for the purpose of generating knowledge that will benefit the community.

To generate measurable and testable data for accumulation of human knowledge .
