- Naltrexone : It
is the drug of choice because of minimal side effects

effects of opiod agonist drugs.
- Beclofen:Used to

Injectable form of Naltrexone.It is administered via injection once
a month
- Disulfiram :It
acts by blocking the activity of enzymes which are useful for
ethanol metabolism.

protects the brain from over excitation which occurs due to
withdrawl of alcohol by disrupting the excitatory and inhibitory
signals- which can promote abstinence of alcohol.
- Gabapentine

COCAINE ABUSE :
- Modafinil :It is
CNS stimulant and promotes alertness.Used in cocaine
dependence.

NICOTINE ABUSE :
- Bupropion:It is
norepinephrine- dopamine reuptake inhibitor antidepressent.
- Used in cessation of smoking.
