People are different and people form their view or construct their belief or worldview depending on their environment and personality which they developed over a period of time. So, each one’s worldview and how they perceive, interpret and explain events would differ significantly from person to person. Kelly’s Personal Construct theory explains that people develop personal constructs about how the world works and then use these constructs to make sense of their observations and experiences. What one sees as right thus becomes wrong for another. The arguments, fights between individuals and nations is because of this difference. The best way to overcome conflicts, one needs to understand this concept that people view the world through their already constructed personality and experiences. Being open to the events and experience of others also might help one reduce conflicts.
