What are job factors needed for self-actualization and job satisfaction? What jobs have you held that have been most rewarding to you and what jobs have been least rewarding? Think about the factors within these jobs that made it so rewarding or less rewarding and explain them.   1. Jobs factors needed for self actualization and job satisfaction- Job satisfaction is a summary evaluation that people make of their work and self actualization respectively. This is characterized as morality, creativity, spontaneity, problem solving, lack of prejudice and acceptance of facts. Factor of job satisfaction of belonging and relationships in the workplace with love and belonging. Self actualization need to pertain to what a person's full potential is and realizing that potential. And job security is an important determinant of job satisfaction. The results also shows that greater job security satisfaction was negatively related to physical and mental health conditions and job stress. Safety need is characterized by security of body, employment, resources, morality, the family, health and property. The need for job satisfaction and self actualization are the need to live and plays a great positive comparison in life.
  2. Jobs more and less rewarding- Pay satisfaction of primary concern to both employees and employers. Pay obviously plays important role in employees life in terms of satisfying their economic needs. If one's material needs were met in some other way, one would want to continue the work anyway, for its own rewards. Less rewarding thing in job is that you work more than you paid for and there is no job security or recognition is given by company or management is less rewarding.
  3. A Role played by company or management to create more rewarding environment for workers- Rewards realized on the job such as the freedom to plan one's own work, the chance to see one's abilities, the absence of close supervision, and positive relations with co- workers. Extrinsic factors are pay, benefits, and job security. To be satisfied, workers- both manual and professional- need intrinsic and extrinsic needs to be met.
