Name five traits of a good engineer and provide your rationale.
1. Communication:
This is the basic essential required for any engineer, with good communication skills an engineer can understand the need of the clients and also communicate with them in an effective way and the best project output will be obtained
2. Teamwork:
An engineer should be able to work in a team, manage the team and should act as a team player while working in a team if required the engineer should be able to work independently also
3. Logical and creative thinking:
The syllabus covered in the class may not be able to solve all the problems which will be present outside, so engineers need to have clear thinking and should be creative in their own ways.
4. Technical knowledge:
For any engineering domain, technical knowledge is not limited, there can be unlimited contents available for learning, and one should always have a will for learning it constantly throughout their life.
5. Problem-solving skills:
This is not limited to the problems that are solved on the deskwork and implemented later, there may be general problems on the field, for example, maintenance and repair work the engineer should be able to solve those problems as well.
