The big five model fits in the workplace very precisely. Openness is demanded in employees so that they can change and adjust well in the company and also try new ways to reach the targets as well as the employers as they need to try novel things for the growth. Conscientiousness motivates a person which is very important for growth in the work place . A person who is instrinsically motivated would work hard and reach the goal. Similarly extraversion enables person interacting with others. An outspoken person understands others and makes them understand their point so as to enable smooth function. Other dimensions also help in some or the other way in the above concepts only.
