worksheet 2 assignment for digital marketing
Online marketing generally refers to any marketing initiative or resource made digitally. Email ads, pay-per - click advertising, social media marketing and even blogs are all perfect examples of digital marketing they help get customers into your business and persuade them to shop
Pay-per - click (PPC) advertisement is in general a specific
term describing some form of digital marketing where you pay for
any user who clicks on an ad. Google AdWords, for example, is a
form of PPC ads called "paid search ads." Facebook ads are another
type of PPC advertisement, called "paying advertisements on social
media"
Google, Bing , and Yahoo all let you run text ads on their Search
Engine Results (SERPs) websites. Paid search advertising is one of
the best ways to target potential clients who actively seek out a
product or service like yours
Most social media platforms like Facebook , Instagram , Twitter, LinkedIn , Pinterest and Snapchat will let you run advertisements on their site. Paid social media advertisement is useful for raising visibility of people who may not be aware of the presence of your brand , product or service. If you don't want to pay to show up in SERPs, you may still use search engine optimization ( SEO) to try and rate pages or blog posts organically on your web. You don't have to pay for each click directly, but getting a page to rank usually takes quite some time and effort.
