In Bible we can find may verse and phrases that gives importance to the healthy body and mind. In John 6:35, Jesus said to them, " I am the bread of life;whoever comes to me shall never hunger and whoever believes in me shall never thirst".
The Christian belief focus on satisfaction of spiritual hunger rather than physical hunger. Although in the old testment in Genesis 1: 29, And God said," Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that on the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit. You shall have them for food." God has authorized men and animals to satisfy their hunger with the food on the earth. Its seen in Exodus, how God feeds his people with manna and protects them from starvation.
