In this senario the patient is in the age group of young adulthood and accodring to the Erikson's theory of development the patient is belongs to the psychosocial stage of intmacy vs isolation.
The unfvourable outcome of this group include isolated rom the group and inability to form affectionated relationships. Here also the mother cannot made a relationship or bond between the child and this leads to the depression.
